Pseudo Codes

Analyze / Breakdown / Draft

Pseudo codes are an extremely important practice that every developer needs to utilize, they provide a complete and clear story and objective for every script. Without it, writing scripts would become very confusing, especially when you have hundreds if not thousands of lines.

Writing pseudo codes is very easy, just type “//” before every sentience to preform a pseudo line. By have the “//” in front, the script editor won’t recognize the line as a C# script.

So What is it used for?

A good example on how pseudo code can be utilize would be in a team project. When you have multiple people working on the same script, things can be very chaotic, therefore we can organized buckets of codes with pseudo codes. Pseudo codes can also be used to explain the objective of the script, and also make sense of the logic behind the script.

Of course this method can be also useful in a solo project as well, having pseudo tags explaining long lines of codes can shorten your time understanding what you have written.

*TLDr: Pseudo codes are tags which you can use to organize or make sense of the logic behind the script
